Born and raised in the Bay Area, Kimberly trained and competed at Yoko’s Dance & Performing Arts Academy, where she immersed herself in ballet, pointe, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, and tap. During her time at Yoko’s, she won numerous national titles and performed annually in the studio’s Nutcracker ballet production. By her mid-teens, she discovered her passion for teaching, becoming an instructor at Yoko’s in 2016.
With nearly a decade of teaching experience, Kimberly has choreographed competitive solos, duos, and groups at Focus Dance Center, where her students consistently placed at both regional and national competitions. She is known for her strong technical foundation, creative storytelling, and ability to bring out artistry in dancers of all ages and levels.
Kimberly graduated from Concordia University Irvine with both a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration (Marketing & Management emphasis, with a Psychology minor) and a Master of Business Administration. While at Concordia, she was a student-athlete on the Women’s Lacrosse team, a founding member of the CUI Dance Team, and a member of the Concordia Dance Company, where she choreographed for spring recitals and halftime performances.
Beyond dance, Kimberly is a Programs Team Associate at Alliant Insurance Services and a competitive adult gymnast, earning 4th place all-around in recent competition. She is passionate about fostering a classroom environment that emphasizes discipline, confidence, and creativity, while helping dancers reach their fullest potential. Kimberly is excited to continue her journey at Iconic Movement Dance Company and share her love of dance with the next generation.
